Integrity Monitoring:

Our team will provide the necessary oversight and monitoring of construction projects to prevent fraud, waste, abuse, corruption and unethical conduct.  If detected, we will coordinate with ownership and collaborate with government inspectors to determine appropriate action.  Our team has the expertise to effectively monitor for integrity risks and understands the types of corruption and fraud that might occur, as well as the safety and environmental violations that can be committed by construction contractors.

We will create and implement customized policies and procedures to ensure that the construction projects comply with relevant laws and regulations.  We can screen subcontractors, analyze invoices, monitor compliance of internal controls, detect corrupt practices and deter fraud before it occurs, while not inhibiting the project’s schedule, cost or contractor performance.

Forensic Accounting and Investigations:

Our services focus on troubleshooting construction projects where damage and/or failure have occurred.  Our reports outline the problem and will compute the cost of any construction claim. We will assist in developing options for remedial action including estimated budget costs for implementation.

Project Management Oversight:

Our project management services draw on the experience of our consortium members. Services include: defining client needs, preparing bid documents, tendering bid analysis, construction review, payment certification, contract administration, team mobilization, project financing and planning, logistical support, compliance with laws and regulations, informational technology, security and investigation.  Our engineering consultants specialize in the analysis, resolution, and prevention of complex construction disputes.

Litigation Support & Dispute Resolution:

We draw upon our broad range of construction and contract administration experience to provide construction claim dispute resolution services, including arbitration, mediation, and expert reports for litigation.  Techniques, such as Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, identifying the relationship between events and their impacts on a project and then apportion responsibility for delays, disruption, and inefficiency.  We thoroughly evaluate technical, scheduling, cost, quality, and other critical issues, develop dispute resolution strategies, assist in settlement negotiations, and provide expert witness testimony.  This work is supported by forensic engineering services to identify the cause of failures and forensic accounting services to validate the associated monetary damages.
